Brunello di Montalcino can have as qualification the diction "Riserva" (reserve) if put on sale after the 1st of January of the following year at the end of 6 years, calculated from the grape harvest; naturally it has to be considered also a minimum of 2 years of ageing in oak and at least six months in bottle.

Brunello di Montalcino, the well-known red Italian wine, is produced in the vineyards surrounding the town of Montalcino located about 110 km in the southwest of Florence, in the Tuscany Wine region. Brunello, roughly translated as "nice dark one" in the local dialect, is the unofficial name of the clone of Sangiovese (also known as Sangiovese Grosso) grown in the Montalcino region. In 1980, the Brunello di Montalcino was awarded with the first "Denominazione di origine controllata e garantita (DOCG)" designation and today is one of the Italian best-known wines.

Rosso di Montalcino is seen as an intense ruby, characterised by an intense and typical smell. Already appreciated and knew with different denominations, the Rosso di Montalcino has bought a precise identity with the recognition of the "Denominazione di Origine Controllata" gained in 1983. Its characteristics are highlighted by the typical meals of the tuscan kitchen from the pronounced taste, however it is ideal for any kind of proposal of the international kitchen. It has to be served in crystal drinking cup for red wines at a temperature of 18° C.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a red wine of Denominazione Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) produced in Tuscany, in the territory of Montepulciano in the province of Siena. The area of production includes the hills territory between the 250 and 600 meters above the level of sea. Among the most ancient wines of Italy, it doesn't have to be confused with the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, similar name, but different production and type of grapes used.
